Taurus’s have the blessing and the curse of having an enormous amount of endurance with a capital E. They have the ability to withstand any number of issues that tests this endurance. They desire to live in peace and harmony, at almost all cost.
The problem with this is that Taurus’s may continue down the road of really challenging work, not wanting to be the quitter, knowing that they can endure just about anything. But this doesn’t mean that they should endure it, only that they can endure it.
Change, in general, is hard on a Taurus; they are typically willing to put up with the known instead of taking a chance on the unknown. Because they value peace, beauty, and good living, any chaos, irritability or instability is unwanted by a Taurus. They are the ones, that after getting in a bind, they may just sweep all the hard stuff under the emotional rug, not wanting to ever see it or feel it again. Of course, all that emotional dirt starts seeping out of the cracks as time goes on and they will have to deal with it anyway.
They have the determined gene that never gives up and continues with one foot in front of the other, making progress along the way. They are stable and crave security and comforts. And they are good with their hands.

When a Taurus lives their highest self, they are the archetype of the wood elf, the nature lover, the animal lover and the grounded friend that you can always count on. They are here to learn how to role model peace, wisdom, and being centered. They are typically wise beyond their years. They live in the present and can easily size up a room at a dinner party; when they arrive somewhere, they are emotionally and physically there! They are not easily distracted like others may be.
When a Taurus lives their lowest self, they show you exactly how to be fixed and stubborn, never wielding their thought processes any other way but the way they came in on. It’s challenging for them to change whether it is their thoughts on politics or to change their bodies. They are so in their bodies that they can usually feel every little and big thing.
Taurus’s need to understand that life is not about prodding onward without allowing yourself to shift gears or change directions. They need to learn that sometimes the greatest thing that happens in a life, is something they never imagined or planned, but instead is spontaneous.
